Presentation
A member of the Paris Bar since January 2006, Laurent Schittenhelm is a partner in real estate and co-leads the real estate department.
Laurent specializes in real estate transactions and complex real estate operations involving all types of real estate assets (offices, logistic activities, commercial premises, shopping centers, hotels, hotel residences, campsites, house nursing, senior residences, clinics). His practice focuses on (i) acquisitions and sales of portfolios of buildings and/or real estate companies, (ii) leases, (iii) development operations and (iv) litigation.
Laurent regularly advises several owners, REITS, investment funds, institutional investors and significant tenants.

Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Laurent Schittenhelm worked at Clifford Chance, Franklin and BCLP, where he had contributed to the creation of the real estate department.
From 2009 to 2010, Laurent also worked for a company involved in asset management, property management and brokerage.
Laurent was seconded by Clifford Chance to AXA Real Estate’s legal department for several months in 2013.
