Thomas Verdeil specializes in the taxation of acquisitions and sales of companies (M&A, private equity, venture capital, and leveraged buyouts). He advises investment funds, companies, entrepreneurs, and family shareholders on all tax issues relating to their transactions (tax structure, tax due diligence, vendor due diligence) and their shareholdings (monitoring their tax situation, restructuring transactions, and tax litigation).
He also has expertise in the fields of private asset taxation, investment taxation, and tax litigation, and advises company managers during LBOs with respect to the negotiation of the management package.
Thomas recently advised Ciprés Assurances for the acquisition of Axelliance Groupe.
He also advised Turenne Capital Partenaires on the acquisition and sale of several hotels in France and Moustache Bikes’s co-founders in their take over by LBO France for 155M€.
Thomas studied at New York University School of Law for a year (2009). He assists his clients both in French and English.

Prior to joining the firm in March 2015, Mr. Verdeil practiced with Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Deringer LLP and Lamartine Conseil, as well as in the legal and tax department of the Nestle Waters group.
