The Science Po acquisition of the Hôtel de l’Artillerie

On 23 December 2016, the Fondation nationale des sciences politiques signed a contract to purchase the Hôtel de l’Artillerie, on Place Saint-Thomas d’Aquin in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, for €87 million. The acquisition will add new facilities to the Sciences Po campus in Paris with the aim of consolidating and developing its attractiveness in France and abroad, while rationalising its real estate portfolio. It was financed by a loan obtained from pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank. Four years of work are planned before the new premises open in 2021.
